Celebrate a new dawn with the Panama City Symphony! As we embark on our 31st season, we invite you to join us for Horizons: A Season of Discovery. This year is more than just a series of concerts; it is a community-wide journey into the future of music in Northwest Florida.
Building on the legacy of our past three decades, Panama City Symphony is moving forward with energy and optimism. This season, you are more than an audience member—you are a vital part of our search for a new Music Director and Conductor. Together, we will discover new sounds, new leadership, and new heights of artistic excellence.
By increasing seating capacity and performing in three locations, we are ensuring the majesty of the Symphony is more accessible to our entire community. This season, we invite you to discover the unique character of our three primary homes:
Our season opens in the impressive and familiar facility, featuring an expansive foyer, 700 seats, and a modern design that provides a professional, streamlined concert experience. This venue will host our season premiere, Dvořák’s New World Symphony, and the holiday spectacular, A Grand Symphony Christmas, where the stage will accommodate the combined power of the orchestra with our Adult and Children’s Choruses.
Experience the symphony in a beautifully renovated, acoustically outstanding environment. This contemporary venue features 753 comfortable, individual seats across a spacious main floor and balcony. With state-of-the-art sound and lighting, plus an elegant foyer for refreshments and socializing, it offers an inviting concert experience for Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires and Beethoven’s Eroica & Rautavaara’s Cantus Arcticus.
To better serve our beach, Margaritaville, and 30A neighbors, we are heading west. This venue boasts our largest seating capacity with 1,000 seats and an expansive stage to accommodate our full orchestra and choruses. It is the perfect home for the lush romance of With Love, Tchaikovsky and our Grand Finale, Beethoven’s Ode to Joy, featuring the adult choruses and guest soloists.
Our “Core Five” subscription series and special events are designed to inspire and thrill:

Horizons: A Season of Discovery
We are thrilled to share the gift of music with even more of our neighbors this season by expanding our performances across Bay County! To ensure more of our community can join us, we have selected venues that offer both expanded seating and exceptional acoustics. This year, we invite you to experience the symphony at the Barbara W. Nelson Fine Arts Center (Bay High School), and enjoy the enhanced capacity and soaring soundscapes of St. Andrews Baptist Church and the Helen Blackburn Auditorium (J.R. Arnold High School). Each location features convenient parking and full accessibility, making it easier than ever to bring your friends and family along for memorable evenings of music throughout the Season.
