Charles Sciascia

Soloist and Emcee

American tenor Charles Sciascia has a particular passion for the connection between music, language, and storytelling. Over the past several years, Charles has performed roles including Don Ramiro in an English-reduction of Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Raoul in Lee Hoiby’s The Scarf, as well as appearing as tenor soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Panama City Pops under David Ott.

Audiences were mesmerized by his sensational performance in Renaissance to Rock ’N Roll in February 2026, and we are thrilled to welcome him back. Most recently he was a featured performer alongside Erika Sciascia, John Divine, and David Goldflies on the Panama City Symphony’s Rhine River Cruise.

Erika Sciascia

Erika Sciascia serves as the Concertmaster for Panama City Symphony, bringing brilliant artistry and leadership to the orchestra. A featured virtuoso musician for the symphony, she performs across a diverse array of masterworks and fan-favorite crossover events, including Renaissance to Rock ‘N Roll.

In addition to her orchestral leadership, she serves as a judge for local musical competitions, including Panama City Symphony’s Emerging Artists Competition, and was a featured performer on the symphony’s Rhine River Cruise.

John Divine

John Divine is a brilliant clarinetist and ensemble artist known for bringing exceptional artistry and captivating theatrical flair to the Panama City Symphony stage. Masterful across both classical standards and adventurous crossover programs, he recently mesmerized the audience with his featured soloist performance in Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major.

Demonstrating his incredible humor, skill, and stage presence, Divine wowed attendees in the February 2026 Renaissance to Rock ‘N Roll performance by playing Adolf Schreiner’s humorous showpiece, Immer Kleiner (“Always Smaller”), a famous novelty piece in which John progressively disassembled the clarinet section by section until playing on only the mouthpiece.

Beyond his orchestral and solo appearances on stage, John was also a featured performer on Panama City Symphony’s recent Rhine River Cruise.

David Goldflies

David Goldflies serves as Principal Bassist for Panama City Symphony, bringing a rich musical lineage and world-class versatility to the stage. A former bassist for the legendary Allman Brothers Band and Dickey Betts & Great Southern, he toured extensively and recorded three albums with the iconic rock group, adding his signature groove to Southern rock history.

As a dynamic composer and arranger, Goldflies crafts custom orchestral arrangements and original compositions, including unique crossover works that unite the Will Thompson Band with Panama City Symphony musicians. David composed original pieces for and was a featured artist on the symphony’s recent Rhine River Cruise.

Ani Mouradian

Ani Mouradian is a professional pianist with a rich background in classical performance and a versatile, wide-ranging repertoire. Born in New Jersey and currently based in Panama City, Florida, she began her piano studies at age five. Her rigorous musical training includes studies at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege and Conservatory, as well as three years at La Schola Cantorum in Paris, France.

Throughout her career, Ani has achieved notable success in prestigious competitions, including taking first place in the MTNA New Jersey State Music Competition (Young Artist Level) in 2017 and winning first place in the Elite Music Competition twice. Her accolades led to featured performances at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in 2018 and 2019. In addition to her extensive training at festivals in Vienna, Croatia, and New York, she has performed in notable venues such as Merkin Hall in New York City.

Today, Ani is an active performer in the Florida Panhandle, serving as a pianist with the Panama City Symphony. With her deep dedication to both classical and contemporary music, she brings exceptional versatility, energy, and musicality to the stage, making her a perfect pianist for Renaissance to Rock ‘n’ Roll.
